A highly accurate method of 3d data capture

Laser Scanning

This is a highly accurate method of capturing data in 3d. With this process we can provide richer data which allows 2 or 3d drawings, ortho-images and movies to be produced.

We access a range of scanners to meet the individual requirements of each project. Laser scanning can be employed in a wide range of applications.

To date we have undertaken a wide range of scanning projects including small artifacts, aircraft, biuldings, streets, tube stations, petrochemical plants, cave systems, mines and quarries to name but a few.

What are the benefits to Clients?

Speed

Complex environments are captured faster than alternative techniques. No return visits due to completeness of data capture.

Accuracy

From sub-millimetre on small object scans to 5-10mm on objects at distances up to 500m.

Site Access and safety

As a remote observation instrument site access may only be needed once, or possibly not at all.

Archive

As a complete snapshot of a given site/object the data provides an invaluable archive/library resource for routine monitoring or future exploitation.

Deliverables

3d Point Cloud databases for use via Pointools View or Model softwre or almost any other available format.

Finished 2d plans, elevations and sections

Fully or partially rendered 3d models and fly throughs

Scanners we operate

We operate a range of the latest in scanning technology and for each job are able to select the most suitable scanning solution.

Our scanners include the latest models from:
